Nordic GoW Execution League Ignition

Gears of War

Nordic Gears of War Execution League has started some time ago and the 25 participating teams (all Finnish) have been split into two segments; League A and League B. imob.gow is on the League B.

Every clan plays twice against every other clan in their bracket, once as a home team and once as an away team. After the bracket play has been completed four (4) best clans from both brackets advance to the finals which will be held with single elimination tournament mode.

2nd at MatchBox360 GoW Tournament

Gears of War

imob.gow came Tournament silver 2nd at the MatchBox360 Gears of War - Execution 4vs4 tournament. Finals were played yesterday and Finnish HardCore overcame imob.gow with 3-1:

Gridlock
War Machine
Raven Down
Old Bones		 5-1
5-3
3-5
5-3


Finland took a doublewin in this more or less UK-oriented tournament.

MatchBox360 GoW Finals: imob vs. FHC

Gears of War

Through many attempts of UK clans' trying to get imob.gow and Finnish HardCore disqualified, both have made it to the finals at MatchBox360 Gears of War - Execution 4vs4 tournament. We'll face each other again and Finnish HardCore is the only clan we've lost to in Gears of War of total 41 matches we've played.

Finland
Sweden
Norway
Denmark
Iceland

3rd Place Secured at MatchBox360 GoW-Cup

Gears of War

We've made news earlier about imob.halo2 joining in the MatchBox Halo 2 tournament. Soon afterwards imob.gow was lucky enough to join into the Gears of War tournament after one signed team decided to drop out.

Games have gone well and today we've secured a Tournament bronze third place in the tournament after beating JD Clan 3-0. Our next opponent isn't announced yet. At some point we might face Finnish HardCore again, the winner of the Gears of Live '07 Tournament and the only clan who has beaten us at Gears of War.

The success of Finnish clans in the tournament has been quite a surprise to other participating clans, some might think they should consider their predictions all over again owned

FHC Cut imob.gows Double-Overkill

Gears of War

Just when imob.gow was prepared to persuade a double-overkill, Finnish HardCore came and cut our 26-winning streak in Gears of War. FHC beat us 3-1 in Gears of Live tournament in our second match which caused us to drop out.

I'll eat a local drunks underpants if FHC will not win the tournament.

Gears of Live '07 Bracket Revealed

Gears of War

The bracket for Livegamers' Gears of Live '07 tournament has been revealed and it looks interesting to say the least. Yet again, two winning candidates, imob.gow and FHC have been placed to fight against each other in the second round. This brings back bad memories..

imob.gow Joins Gears of Live '07

Gears of War

imob.gow has joined the Finnish Gears of Live '07 Tournament by Livegamers. It currently consists of 33 participating teams (64 is maximum allowed). Matches will be played on the Execution gametype and with team member count of 4+1.

imob.gow has joined ClanBase GoW: Team Execution 4on4 ladder. Our Line up in the ladder is the usual one:
