imob.halo2 at RDKLeague Finals

Halo 2

imob.halo2 has battled their way into the finals at RDKLeague Halo 2 4vs4 Tournament.
This was achieved through losers bracket after we beat HeRe 2 FrAg 3:0.
We will battle for Tournament gold 1st place against CrT Creative, nowadays know as Team THL (TheHaloLeague). The final match takes place when RDKLeague launches their new website (date unknown).

Semi-Paha 3rd on MatchBox360 FFA

Halo 2

Amongst 10 signed Finnish participants (of total 128 players), Semi-Paha from imob.halo2 was the only one able to fight his way to a trophy in MatchBox360 Halo 2 FFA Tournament by finishing Tournament bronze 3rd. The final match was very intense and close: there was only a few kills differences between the best three participants. Tournament was won by StK NinetyOne.

RDKLeague Finally Continues (again)

Halo 2

After numerous promises and failing delivery, RDKLeague has finally managed to continue the Halo 2 4vs4 Tournament. This was presumably accomplished by typing letters using a keyboard in cooperation with fingers.

imob.halo2 will face Out of Reality, a Finnish clan which we have once won in Gears of War and lost in Halo 2 with devastating result of 0-4

We've got a stronger line-up now, though activicity has been zero on Halo 2 (which is mainly due to Gears of War and lack of competitive European events).

MatchBox360 Halo 2 Tournament

Halo 2

imob.h2 has signed up for MatchBox360's hosted Halo 2 - 4vs4 Knockout tournament. There is a maximum of 32 team slots available and 19 of them have been filled. Though it's called a 'knockout' tournament, rules state that the event is double elimination. Games will be played on MLG gametypes, competition Prizes haven't been announced yet.

New H2 Member and RDKL News

Halo 2

RDKLeague is continuing after long break and imob.halo2 is ready to fight again. After winning Group G and losing TradeMark 2-3 on winners bracket round 1, imob.halo2 has fought their way to the losers bracket 4th round.

imob.halo2 also adds new player Timo 'Puupaa' Laine. Puupaa is a very talented young player who's known for his fragging and sniping skills. Puupaa's former clan was talented finnish H2 team RxR.

Halo 2 Team Advances @ RDKLeague

Halo 2

Halo 2 Team has advanced from RDKLeague European 4vs4 cup's group phase being their group nr.1. Actually, we would have one game left, but our opponent exist no more and therefore the match is considered as a walkover. Two teams advances from each group, where games are played in best of 4 basis. Semi-finals and Finals are played with best of 5 principle.

We won all other games except our first match, which ended in a tie. Semi-Paha had to quit so one round had to played underpowered as 3vs4.

Gold and Cash from Team SWAT Tourney!

Halo 2

We did it! We fought our way through almost 300 American clans, we were the only European (and Finnish) team, and we earned gold in the GiA Halo 2 Team SWAT tournament after beating Unnamed in the thrilling final!

The finals were played on Lockout, and it was a 'best of three' match. Monni and mufa gave us real-time statistics of the games in our IRC-channel #invalidmob @ quakenet

Round 1: We had the host, and led from the beginning to the end. Unnamed had no chance.
Score: imob 50:37 Unnamed

Round 2: Team Unnamed had host. This was an exciting round. We were trailing behind the whole game, made a minor comeback from 36:46 to 47:48, but sadly it wasn't enough.

Round 3: Neutral host. Overall score is one-one. This was the deciding game, the Final of the Finals. Here's a short, stripped selection of the scores reported by Monni & mufa:

Halo 2 Team in GiA SWAT Finals!

Halo 2

Halo 2 Team has has fought their way into the GIA Team SWAT Tournament finals after beating Rebel Scum in Beaver Creek. This has secured us 2nd place with $100 dollars and the chance to go for gold. We'll be playing the clan Unnamed in the last game of this epic tournament. Wish us good luck!

Update:

Match will be played today @ 21 Finnish time (GMT+2).
